years or so. I created this piece as a part of my AP Studio Art portfolio my junior year of high school. This piece was intriguing to me due to the unique style called mono print. This technique is achieved by painting onto a plastic board and then pressing the final paper onto the board rather than painting directly onto the paper. This forced me to ‘let go’ of drive for perfection, and allowed me to embrace a more free spirited and interpretive style of art. I am currently working on a second AP portfolio, and plan to continue incorporating art into my life post high school.
